Safari 5 introduced Safari Extensions, little bundles of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that extend the functionality of Apple's Web Browser.
Installation
- Click the name of an extension below to download it. Once downloaded, open it from your Downloads stack. Safari will ask if you'd like to instal the Extension. After installing an Extension you may need to reload open pages to ensure it's fully loaded.
Removal
- To manage/remove Extensions, go to the Extensions section of the Safari Preferences.

CustomSearch Safari Extension  Allows you to easily send selected text, link URLs, and image URLs to one of up to 16 customizable websites, right from the toolbar and/or contextual menu. You can easily add entries for search, and entries to share an image on the page or the entire page.
Ships with entries for searching Wikipedia, Amazon.com, TinEye, Google, and Bing, as well as entries for sharing on Facebook, MySpace, and Tumblr.
By default, the first 3 entries will receive an item in your toolbar. If you'd like to change this; right-click the items and choose "Remove Item", or go to menu View>Customize Toolbar.
